I have been working with wood since my dad took me to the job site as a young boy and gave me some wood and tools to keep me busy while he was supervising the construction of a building.
Whether it was building furniture, renovating an old house or wondering what could be done with wood from a downed tree or fallen branches, I’ve enjoyed the challenges and beauty of wood.
It’s nice to have more time to spend in various phases of woodworking, being creative with other materials and challenging myself to get better.
With this site, I hope to give others some ideas and resources as well as get feedback on design, process etc.

PS: I’ve started to ‘pay it forward’, by coaching a grandson who seems to enjoy spending time in the woodshop making wood toys together.
